A trawler was three miles distant, and the 11101 were below at meals wlicn an explosion and shock were felt. The trawlers crew saw the Pathfinder alninn perpendicular, and a terrible oxplosion followed in a fow minutes. De.stroyei's rescued ninety and conveyed them to Rosyth.
