NORDON CUP MATCH. (Per Press Association.) HAMILTON, July 15. The th:rd contest of the season for the Nordon Cup was played at Hamilton to-day, between Waikaio (holders) and Manawatu. Desuite the fact that the ground was verv" sodden tho game was evenly contested. Waikato did most of the attacking, and Manawatu made a noticeably strong defence. The came on the whole was very even. Tho visitors' erratic shooting lest them several goals. The result was Wai'kato 4, Manawatu 1. BOXING. AUCKLAND TEAM. AUCKLAND, Julv 15. Closs; heavv C- Savoury. MINIATURE RIFLES. Waitohi Club. On Tuesday evening tlhe Waitohi Club held a- competition for a trophy presented by Mr Nelligan. Fo'lowin-' are tho scores:—G. Elsom (4).
