MINIATURE RIFLES.
ST. PETER'S CLUB. On Saturday night Si. Peter's Club, Temuka. competed for a trophy presented by Mr C. Bates, which "was won by A. "Whitehead with the possible off the rifle. The following are the best scores off the rifle :—A. Whitehead 70. vv. Morgan and TV. Whitehead 69 each, F. Hooper 68, L. Heap, B. Hutehens and J. H. A. Pedder 67 each, H. Berry and T- Pearsc 66 each. Winchester Club. The scores for the second round of Mr Melnues' trophy were:—J. Cripps 70, A. Scott 69, C. Deßenzv 65, Ja*. Cripps 65, B. Trumper 64, W. Scott 64 A Cripps 64, A. Deßenzv 63, A.' Opje 61. * Citizens' Club. Tlie Temuka Citizens fired for a trophy presented by Messrs Brinhtwell and Teesdale, -which was won'bv F. Smith with a possible off the Vino. The. following are the Highest scores:— F. Smith (ficr.l, E. Scrimshaw (It. .T. Maze (1). L. To/.er (2), T. Cror-vev (2). C. Warcing (31, F. Wtirm (4\ T. Greel lish (1), and L. Scrimshaw (4). 70 each. Temuka Territorials. The Teniuka Territorials fired for a trophy presented by Mr C. Creovey. Following are the urincipaL C. Daily (1), C. Niks (I), E. Lee (2). J. Henry (4), J. Judson (4), 70 each. TV. Husband (scr), A. Duggan (scr.) each 69. In the shoot off J. Judson proved the winner.
