COLLIE DOG CLUB.
FOR GERALDINE DISTRICT. A well attended meeting was held at Geraldine on Saturdav night when it was resolved to forin "a Collio Dog Trial Club. I Mr Hullah was in the cliau- and considerable enthusiasm was shown by those present. • The following officers were' eleeled : ,Pa.trons; -Mrfiß.: 'l'rin'n- and Mr>-G. -A." M.-' Macdonnkl; ; : President. Col. Mackenzie ; vice-presidents.' Messrs Colin Maokenze, G. Dixon, Blakkton, Scott. McKay, Turnbuli, Jones, Shaiilerass. 11. D Ac-land. Lowry, Cnrsbe, J. Kennedy, 11. Morrison. L. Woods, H. Bennett, and B. R. Macdonald; secretary. Mr H. Thompson; treasurer, Mr G. Macdonald; committee, Messrs Evans, Rutherford. Taylor, Clark, Allan, Livingstone, Waters. S. Rae. Richards, Gillespie, A. Mackenzie; nidge. Mr G. Dixon; time-keeper. Mr Allan; finf Rewards, Messrs Rutherford' and Evans. The annual subseript'on was.fixsd at 10s and it was left to" the committee to fix: the date of the first-'it rial. From the Rangitava to tlhe Waitaki fixed at boundaries of the club. It may be mentioned that one gentleman present at the meeting had ridden 40 miles in order to take part in the formation of the club.
