English critics consider that he is- Towing with a better length than any colonial who has met Barry 011 the Thames. ■ Barry's weight is list 131b. ENGLISH ROWING FAULTY. The "Sportsman'' says that the results --of the Henley regatta show that something is lacking in English rowing. The crews do not train sufficiently, and the style can apparently be improved. The English oarsmen swing too far back, neglect' to use their hands and wrists., and their recovery is unsteadv.
