The committee of the Canterbury Jockey Club has decided to postpone the- entries for nil classic races, such ns the "Welcome. Derby, Oaks, Middle. liiU'k Plate., Champagne and Challenge Stakes, witil Autumn, thus . following the practice of English and Australian racing clubs.
