The Rangitata Miniature llillo Club opened its second season on Tuesday irght. The club has not quite so large a membership as last year, bat the averagy quai'ity is better. If last Tuesday's shooting can bo taken ;-s an omen, then the Hayhurst Challenge Shield is likely to remain at Rangitata for at least another term. Very substantial improvements have been r.ade to the club room and range, and these should help towards greater comfort and better shooting. Numerous valuable trophies have already been promised, and keen competition is hkcly to ensue.
