The electorates approved of the Military Service Bill. PARIS, April 28. The Socialists increased their poll by 30,000 as compared with the last election. CONFLICTS IN THRACE. GREEK v. ALBANIAN. April 27. The Greeks have evacuated Tepelini and the Albanian gendarmerie and Dutch officers occupied it. Later the Epirote army advanced and after a sanguinary conflict drove out the Albanians. ATHENS, April 28. The Greeks have completed the evacuation of Northern Epifus. CONSTANTINOPLE, April 28. The. Government believes that the anti-Greek movement in Thrace has been carried too far, and is devising measures for the protection of Greeks.
JAPANESE CABINET. TO USE A NEW BROOM. TOKIO, A.r>ril 27. The new Cabinet is pledged to the eradication of naval corruption. A washing of dirty linen is probable. Three directors of the company who are agents of Vickers Limited are charged with bribing Vice-Admiral Matsuinioto with £40,000 through retired Vice-Admiral Matsuo, in connection with a contract for building the cruiser Kongo. The agents' commission amounted to £115,000.
