MEETING- OF. DIRECTORS. \ ■ A meeting of the tDirectors of the S.C. Caledonian Society, was held on Tuesday, evening, Mr W. Mcßnde, pre- ; sident, in "the .cnair, thirteen fiixeoxom being present. '• A. motion of regret and sympathy with Mr Bradley, on, the loss of his daughter, was passed, and the president i was commended for having sent a letter of condolence and a wreath. The Emergency Committee reported having made arrangements with the .Cricket Association for use of the ground for the season. The concert sub-committee reported I that they had proposed to hold a coil. | cert on; the second night of the New Year sports, but the Scottish Society claimed that evening for their concert and declined .to make it a joint-affair. It was left to the sub-committee to fix a date. , . It was decided to tar and Band' tEe track at once and to paper one of the rooms in the caretaker's cottage. The Programme Committee submitted the programme drawn up for the New Year and after a few minor" alterations it was adopted. The schools' relay race was deleted, and a schoolboys' championship inserted in its place, the conditions of the race to drawn up by the Schools' Sports Association. It was decided that each sports clhib be written to asking them to appoint two delegates to attend a meeting (date to be arranged), to discuss the question of borough rates On sports ground. Messrs Hamlyn and Pearson were elected to fill two vacancies in the directorate, and Mr T. Turnbull was elected to the Ground Committee. The following new members wero elected: —Messrs A. Malone, R. S. White, Thos. Craigie, D. Grant, .P.Downey. L. Eaton, 'G. Scotten, • H. Fleck/*H. W. Cox, F. S. Cave, G. P. | "Wood and W. Young.
