Tie Moeraki leaves Lyttelton to-day for Wellington on the arrival of the v 4 p.m. train, and the Wabine on the arrival of the 7.40 p.m. train. NOTES. The Corinna' discharged 112 tons general cargo, and went north last evening with 200 tons produce. • . The Breeze arrived yesterday morning from southern ports with 20 tons general cargo. Sue left again last evening, taking away 800 sacks produce for the north. The Kowhai sailed last evening for Oamaru and Dunedin to discharge balance of her timber cargo from Greymouth. She later proceeds to Westport; to load coal for "Timaru and Dunedin. The John is due this afternoon from Dunedin and Oamaru. She loads produce for Wellington and Wanganui. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Orari left Lyttelton at 3.20 p.m. yesterday for Timaru, in continuation of her voyage from London. She has about 3000 tons general cargo to discharge, and later proceeds direct to Port Pirie. The Orari is to load concentrates at the South Australian port for Antwerp, and it is understood that the charter rate is 28s per ton. Mr H. B_. Hodges, late second officer of the Corinna, has resigned from the Union Company's service. The Shaw Savill steamer Delphio, en route from Liverpool to Wellington, via Capetown and Auckland, is expected at Wellington on Friday, and will discharge about 700 tons of cargo before proceeding south the following day. It is reported that when the' Delphic has completed discharge in New Zealand she will go to Newcastle in ballast to load coal for Valparaiso. After unloading there, it -is probable that she will load for South Africa, but it is possible that she will return to New Zealand in ballast to load for Home.
