AYhilo there aro unprotected railway crossings and people to dr.ve over them, all tiio automat.o alarms imaginable will not prevent accidents (savs tho Stratford "Evening Post."; A young lady drove m, a gig from Broadway into Ecnton Street, St ratlord, as unconcerned about the railway crossing in her path as if she were in a 100-aere paddock rounding up tho cows. Sho looked everywhere except in front of her, and it took several shouts of warning from two pedestrians on the. sido walk before sho reined in the horse within a few yards of the. out-going ina'l train. All tho time the) warning bell had been ringing, and the whistle of the engine must havo been heard a niilo away. Quito still in the gig. the damsel scanned- the faces at the windows us tho train .thundered by, and then without even a look of thanks coolly drove on into the bright morning over tli9 spot where, a few moments before, tho shadow of death hovered. INDIGESTION IN THE STOMACH AiND INDIGESTION IN THE BOWEL. When'the Stomach does not properly di/gost its part of the food there is Stomach Indigestion, and when the Bowel does not digest its i'ood propeirly there fe Bowel Indigestion. Indigestion in the one causes Indigestion in the other. Those who are ignorant of these facts find Indigestion incurable. They think all food is digested in the Stomach, and in*their efforts to find a cure they—1. Diet themselves. 2. Starve themselves to rest the stomach. 3. Take Pepsine in many forms, thinking it can digest all they eat. 4. Take purgatives to espel fermenting undigested food. This is all wrong; it is worse than useless —indeed, it is harmful. Both dieting and starvation a.rei harmful, because the Stomach and the Bowel are given nothing to do, and at the same time given no nourishment. They need nourishment and work. reaches the Bowel, and does not digest Starch. Purgative? arc unnaftural and most weakening and u.wless, because they do not digest- a. particle of food. These methods always fail, and therefore those who use them think Indigestion is incurable; Such is not the case. TAMER JUICE digests all tho albuminous food, so that there is no fermentation. Tho tender lining is soothed instead of irritated, and all these symptoms gradually disappear. Tho nourishment is extracted from the food, and the General health raoidlv imwoves. INDIGESTION makes life unendurable, and TAMER .TI7TCE is positively the only euro for it.. All chemsits and storekeeixu's. .^
