GEIIALDINE V. KIA TO A. Yesterday members of the Kia Toa Club journey to Geraidine by drag to take part in a Centre match against the Geraidine Cuib. Althougii tho morning gave promise of a wet afternoon, when Geraldiiie was reached the weather conditions were quit© favourable. It was generally expected that tho match would bo a very keen oik:, G-eraldiue had tile best of it all through, and Kia 'foa had to lower its flag for the first time this season, acknowledging itself beaten by the superior play of the Geraidine men. Afternoon toa was provided by the Geraidine ladies, and needless to say it was highly appreciated by the visiting team. Messrs Hughes, Geraidine, and Grant, Kia Toa, exchanged the usual compliments 011 behalf o of the clubs, and cheers were given for Geraidine, Ki;-„ Toa, and tli-e- ladies.
