THE COMING SESSION.
i | INTERESTING SPECULATIONS. THE NO CONFIDENCE MOTION. (From our special Reporter.) WELLINGTON, Feb. 13. About fifty members hav© arrived for the session. It is pretty generally recognised that th© Ward Government will be defeated on a no-confidence motion to b© moved by Mr Massev. After that the tin certainty begins, some members believing that Mr Massey will b© ablo to cany on as head of the Government throughout the i.ormal Parliamentary term, trhil© others decline to hazard a guess as to what may happen after Mr Massey becorneg Premier. There is no doubt that do not want a dissolution, and it is under-stood that there are a Tew cn the side of the present G-o Termnent _who will consider themselves ahsorred from their allegiance out* it has ceased to bo a Government. Thev ma y explain that they are pledged to jote for th© Ward Government, and *aat such a pledge cannot have any meaninc when there is no such as a ward Government. Tfcc-rp is soao fairiv solid croimd for believing that th© Governor's speech will contain a policy announcement of an character designed to secure the labour rote for Sir Joseph Ward.
