Mr Fred. Hasher returned to Dunedm by tlie first expr-ecia on Monday, ulcer- spending a few days here with 'is brother. Dr. Usshsr. Mr Frank Brown has returned from a lengthened visit to Australia, and is at present touring the .North Island. Mr Norton Francis, Mayor of Waiinate, is at present indisposed, and it will be some little time before ha will be able to be about again. Mr McGregor, of Timaru, is to succeed Mr Okisiioiiu at Geraldiii*.
