Tha Overseer Veported that work dono included shingling main road, boundary road, and Sowerby road; clearing slips in cutting,. putting fine shingle on frozen places in Forest Cutting -and|CUtt.ngsc;-ub to let the'sun in upon the cutting. There were two little wh,te pine trees in the Board's reservo which shaded the worst part, and if these were cut down they would get fiv© hours' sun. Tlie culvert in Forest cutting wanted 'lifting to cfear it of willow roots and shingle, it wopld he best to give it more fall and to cement the joints. Mr Dunn was rolling boundary road. The pit shingle was 5D "psr cent better than river shingle to roll. Abcrut 25 chains of main road from Pithie's road was very thin and cut through. There was plenty of nietal close by.. All the -poisoned wheat had; been usod and he wanted more money for bird's heads.— Mr Tempter was asked to report on these matters next month.

Mr Dunn applied for use of' plantation reserve. Mount Peel.— Granted on usual conditions.

It was reported that, tlie Board's credit balance was £1222 17s 10d, and that rates collected amounted to £152 Us 3d. . -
