The Carnival at Olympia was continued on Saturday night, and was watched with dehght by a great number of spectators, who thoroughly enjoyed the, treat set before them. The beautiful dress worn 1)y Miss R. Glover, representing linrdley's Emporium was made- of red silk draped with oriental • embroideries and lovely Maltese luce. A white Eenu-turbau and electric light completed the costume gaining nrs t. prize for best poster. Air W. Bell, as a hurffcn frog, wore perhaps the most noticeable fancy dress in the room and won first prize. Miss MaeAtoar, as Shamrock was a prize winner and also Miss Budd representing Souter's Boot shop, and Mr Shaw, as "The White House," for Air George. Whitehouse tobacconist. The, Black Domino, or Man in the Iron Mask, concealed his identity from everyone in the 'hall, and created consternation in the mind of one married lady, who is said to have left hurriedly under t'lie impression that he was her husband.
