They had plenty of provisions, which were landed from the wreck. The steamship Toboga was sunk on Tuesday off Punta Mala, Panama, and of a hundred passengers on board' sixty were drowned. ' The Itzehoe is hard and fast, her propeller resting on the, rocks. Her bottom is badly damaged. The for&peak and lower parts of'Nos. 1 and 2 holds are full of water. The saving of the cargo depends on tho weather. A SUDDEN DEATH. An inquest was held at the AA 7 aima.te Hospital yesterday before Mr AA r . H. Beckett, Acting-Coroner and a jury of six, with Mr AY. Manchester as foiemon concerning tho death of Henry Baker, a well-known resident' of AA raimate, who died suddenly whilst loading oats on Mr Brinkmau's farm. After hearing the evidence of deceased's brother, of John Werges, Constable Donovan and Dr Hayes, a verdict was returned that . eleath resulted from natural causes. LOCAL ACCIDENTS. George AA'nll, the Star-Pirates player who was injured in a football match on Thursday, when examined at the Hospital was found to have some ribs broken. A little child named McNatty was taken to the hospital on Thursday suffering from a severe scalding through upsetting a teapot over its arms and chest. A wharf labourer named O'Donogbue had a bad fall yesterday when going home to lunch. Turning his b'cycle sharply to avoid a vehicle tho wheels skidded and he ears© down dislocating a shoulder.
