SKIN SALES. Tho usual fortnightly wlc of skins, wool etc., was held yesterday. Thcro was an average attendance of buyers, bidding was animated, and prices v.cro fully up to ruling rates. The following is a range of tho prices obtained :—■ Skins.—J-bd. kid. f.w., up to Bi<J per lb; J-bd. kid. i w., 6d; J-bd. kid, A w./ CJd; x-bd. kid f.iv.. 7d; x-bil. kid. t iv., 6id; x-bd.'kM. i w., si<l; lambs killed, CJd; 4-bd. doad f.w„ 7d ; x-bd. dead f.w., 6d; x-bd doad l j-v. 4id ; iambs dead, Gd; black, sd. Wool. —Fleece, 7d; cruthebings, 6d; dead l . 7j; locks, 3d; horsehair, Is 4d. Fat. —Tins, 22>s per owt; saoks, 19s psr crt. The N. Z. Loan Co. Imvo received the following cablegram from their London office, under dale 19th inst.: —"Frozen meat—;mutton and 1 lamb, thero is a eh'ght_ improvement in tho market. Beef (sides), the market is easier."
