Where the Amateur Scores : One of tho most pleasing features attending the series of motor-cycle races held on New Brighton Beach on Saturday was tho success of amateur riders on regular model machines. Mr c. H. Harrison, riding a standard h.p. "Triumph," finished first In the ten miles event and second in the • U"rty miles race, his time in tho latter being faster than that of the winner. Mr K. S. Jameson, also riding a standard 3J h.p. " Triumph," ran second to Mr Harrison In the ten-mile race, beating twenty-seven other starters. Jn the two-mile side-car race Mr S. f. Carnett, another " Triumph " ' rider, finished second, being beaten by 3 steered by Mr C. B. Brown. Thus, out of six first and second prizes, five were ■ won by "Triumph" riders, and four by ama* •ur "Triumph" riders. In the sidecar race the "Triumph" machines beat . a higher-powered twin-cylinder - ma- ' chine. The meeting demonstrated What has frequently been, demonstrated before— that the " Triumph •• in Shehaiufo of an amateur is just as reliable, speedy and efficient as the "Triumph" (a the hands of a professional. - Ths • "Triumph" doesn't need expert atten- : tion to induoe it to do Its best. And Its best Is better than the best of other oseblnes. We are sow taking order* ~ tor 'tTriumphs" to* tatawtlate delivery. ADAMS LIMITED. Stafford Street, GOLE NEW ZEALAND AGENTS FOR "TRIUMPHS."
