The strike of colliers at Liego has ended. The owners have granted many demands. The railway strike at Lisbon has tor- I minated. The concessions include twenty days' leave with full pay. The gas workers have now struck. Naval stokers re-lighted the furnaces at the gas works, and the military dispersed the strikers, who were objecting io their action.
