j .WAIMATE y, OAMARU. Fire rinks from the Waimate Bowling Uub journeyed -to Oamaru on Ihursday to try conclusions with the Phoenix Club. The victory at the close was with Waimate by 4 points, thanks to the heavy lead of one of theirrinks. The visitors were most hospitably entertained by the Oamaru bowlers, and returned well pleased with the day's outing. It is rather difficult I 0I j a nn&te bowlers to visit Oamaru and return the same day on present train arrangements, hence their taking advantage of the late running of the train on Thursday for the show, lhe scores at each rink were:— O.
