The Rev. Trerice Adams left yestering as far as Auckland.
The Rev. John Mackenzie and Mrs Mackenzie are expected to arrive in Cliristchurch this week from their to Palestine and the British Isles. Mr Charles J. Holworthy, of Nelson, whose wife, formerly Lady Buckley, died less than a fortnight ago, expired suddenly on Sunday on returning from a walk. He had suffered from heart disease for some time. Sir E. V. Senn, chief postmaster at Nelson, who was just on the eve of transfer to Napier was taken suddenly seriously ill on Saturday evening with perforation of the bowels, followed by peritonit.s. U's condition is regarded as somewhat critical.
