Jjlyth was taking out a prohibition order against himself, and was leaving the district, having obtained work elsewhere. Ho suggested that a smaii line would meet the case. Jilyth said ho remembered the night of the lire he was in company mill Alciiratney and l-'lyviu. Could not say which of the other two suggested lighting the /ire. H. E. Capper repeated the evidence he gave at the enquiry, about hearing some persons talking near iho fence.
