Nor'-west winds have dried up tlio country very much, and rain i'., badly needed. A gale blew on almost ctitv day last week. Nor'-west showers fell occasionally, but they did little good, frosts, too. hare been prevalent, and they have been severe for tlie time of the year. On Friday morning JO decrees were registered.
