Mr Abe Bailey and the Transvaal Union are the principal guarantors of the £SOOO required by the South African cricketers, and the team will now be sent to Australia. Received 5.40 p.m., Augut 12uh. SYDNEY, August 12. The Board of Control has received the following message from the South African Cricket Association:—" Guarantee arranged here. Will send team terms of your letters of February and I .Tune." The letters referred to offered half the gross receipts. Received 10.15 n.m.. August 12th. LONDON, August 12. The "Sportsman" says that the cricket guarantee is a solution which is hailed with general satisfaction.
