ACCIDENTS.
GORED BY A BULL. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, August 4. A shocking mishap occurred at Karamea yesterday. Michael Clancy, in company with another man. was crossing a paddock in which there was a bull, which charged Clancv before lie could reach the fence, and caught and gored him, gouging out one of his eves He is being carried thirty miles over a rough track to Seddonville, to connect with train for "West-port. AX- INJURED EYE. WATMATE. August 4 _ A man named J. Trewen met with an injury to lus eyeball whilst- felling trees tor the County Council. He °is expected to recover the use of his eye. j ~ I
