MONTHLY MEETING. The, monthly meeting of this Hoard was held yesterday. Present —Messrs •I. Talbot (chairman), G. YY. Armirage. •I.J. Ellis, A. Bisset, and \V. Hyde. The pay sheet, amounting to I't'OT lis. was passed for pavment. Transfers from Mrs ,1 Radford to Francis Gaby and :\lv:< M. Albinu to >s. 15. Wightman were passed. From. H. Hobhs, asking for refund of deposit and payment of amount for cleaning Clyne's road drain.— field over.

From J. T. Smart, asking for grant towards Temuka Technical classes. —A sum ol £lO was voted

I'rom Patrick Coll, asking for a culvert at foot of Pearse's cutting, instead of pipes.—Left to overseer to deal with.

From the Treasury, notifying payment of .-toO on account subsidy. From Thomas Trezise, asking that his name be removed from petition praying for road through Mr John Hrown's, property —Name removed accordingly.

From the Public Works Department, asking lor names of contractors likely to tender for formation of road iii Clandeboye settlement.—Dealt with Inch'rk.
