TEMUKA NOTES.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The weather fm-ceui-ts of Kev. Mr Bates for the past three days have been wonderfully correct us far as 'l'emuka is concerned. On Friday at 3 p.m. a change to easterly weather was noticed ami the calm placid forenoon was changed into south-easterly squall with heavy showers which lasted, for an hour. The evening was clear and lrosty, and next morning, lrost was much in evidence Ram again fell on Saturday night and Sunday was line. During Saturday night a fair amount of snow fe'l on tlio ranges and a cold wind was felt off the hills. T-..-farmers are ot the ram as it was much needed.
