From pur own Correspondent. Tie annual meeting of tlxe Xeiuuka Brass Band was held, on Thursday in the Biuidroom, tin; Mayor presiding over a good attendance or bandsmen and guarantors. Benbow ("J), Drum-Major Smith. r i alternoon the members of the Temuka Domain Board met in the Domain to decide what should he done with regard to providing permanent grounds io r football and hockev. A block of land comprising about I-i acres at the back of the tennis courts and bowling had been withdrawn from lease and after an inspection, ifc was decided to ntihse the south-west-ern portion of this ior the grounds, and to let what is not required. An account for 17s 6d was parsed for payment, and it was do- . eided to hold a social in aid of the I school funds on the 17th June.
