Ruyner, of ike Amoricaa Dental Parlours., for £lioO damages, for alleged bodily injury occasioned by the extraction of teeth. The ease was heard by tho Chief Justice (Sir .Hubert Stout). Mr AViiiord. for tho olaintilt'j stated that plaint:!! had gone to the American Dental Parlours and had eleven .teeth extracted Itoin tho lower 3aw. Plaintiff's mov.th v.ms bleeding very much after the operation. At 7 p.m. tho gnms were still bleeding. Tho Parlours were communicated with, and plaintiff was luld to use hot nud cold water. At eight o'clock tho manager (Mr Marsdcn) went to phnntiif's bouse jind plugged up the holes, but this did not stop the bleeding. Later plaintiff found that pne of the plugs had been left in her jfums. His client claimed that the treatment was unskilful and negligent. Plaint-It's gums and. iaws were lacerated. which brought on neuritis. At the present time plaintiff was in a very weak state of health. The defence was a total demal of negligence and unskilful treatment. After hearing evidence, Ins Honor gave judgment for defendant without costs. He said that hp wps unable to see that the evidence had shown 'that the defendant comnany was guilty of negligence or carelessness.
