No doubi the latter would try and take away some of the little concessions they had granted, but he thought the men would.' be able to show the Board that they were deserving of a little more consideration in the way of pay. , ! The president congratulated tbe Union on the stand it had taken in the late trouble. As a result their position as a trades union was as good as that of any other organisation in tho country. He advocated a Wugei Board in preference to an Arbitration 1 Court.
