_ «&■ TATTERSALL'S HORSE MART. The entry at Tsttersall's horse martin Saturday comprised-24 kcrses, mostly draughts. The demand for young draughts exceeded the supply, and" these yarded fetched from £'2S to £37 10s, harness horses from £3 to £ls 10s. The draught mare, Mermaid, with foal at- feet, was sold on account 'of Mr A. T. Mann, for 5-3 guineas. A yearling by Red. Rothschild fetched 30 guineas, and a two-year oil oolfc by, Mambrino King, was passed in at GO ; guineas. On the whole, the salt) teas i a. good one. ■ j THE MART. Leslie O'CaHaghan and Co. report a? follows business during tho pssi week:—Poultry: A large entry "came to hand,, and met with a gcod sale, though prices were perhaps a little easier. Hens 2s 3d to 3s 3d, cockerels 3s to 4s 3d, ducks 3s 3d to 4s, gesso 8s to 4s per pair. ..Pigs: A medium entry was offered, and sold at a slight improvement in nrices. "VTeaners sold as follows: 2 at 13s, 7 at 10s. 2 at 8s 6d, 1 at 7s 6d. Produce: chaff continue in gocd ! demand and considerable quantifies (in feed lines) were sold during the week. Potatoes ■re dull, and consignees are advised not to forward too large consignments, »* local demands are very limited. The following sale prices are fair "average runes for local sales: —Oats good feed Is 9d s.e., chaff oatsheaf 2s 6d to 3s •*., oatstraw, we sold some good lines at lOd and lid s.e., fowl wheat whole 12s fid, broken 8s to lis. Fruit: Southern supplies of peaches are about <fone_ and only small consignments are arriving. Following the above sale- we held onr usual sale of fnmitnre, and household effects. There was a large attendance of purt chasers, and a most successful sale resulted.
