BURNSIDE- STOCK MARKET. Per Press Association. * DUNEDIN, Nov. 23. Cattle: Onlv 136 head were yarded; quality and weight with the exception of a few extra good bullocks were only medium. Prices opened at about last week's rates, but after a few pens had been eotd competition became keener and prices advanced 10s per head. Sheep: 2204 were penned. On account of the small attendance of butchers competition was poor, and prices eased 2s per head. Suckers 13s to 15s, slips 16s 6d to 20s, stores 23s to 28s, porkers 33s to 38s, light baeoners 40s to 445, heavy 45s to 58s. DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. Oats: The market remains in about the same condition as last week. If freight were obtainable more business could be done, but through the scarcity of freight shippers are inclined to regulate operations accordingly. Prime nulling Gartens Is BJd to Is 9Jd, prime milling Sparrowbflfe Is 8d to Is 9d. good to best feed Is 7d to Is Bd, inferior to medium Is 4d to Is 6d, per bushel (sacks extra). Wheat: The market for prime milling remains practically unchanged with little business passing. Good whole fowl wheat is in fair demand, and meets with a ready sale at quotations. Prime milling'4s 4d to 4s sd. medium to good 4s to 4s 2d, best whole fowl wheat 3s lOd to 4s Id, inferior and smutted 2s 6d to 3s 6d, per bushel (sacks extra).
