The Frozen Meat Trades Association's Smitlifield Market quotations for the undermentioned classes of frozen meat are based on actual sales of not less than 100 carcases of mutton or lamb or twenty-five carcases of beef of fair average quality. These quotations are not for selected lines, but for parcels fairly representative of the bulk of the shipments now on the market: — Mutton ■ —■ Canterbury, light 4-Jd, medium 4jd, heavy 4d; Nortli Island best brands 4d, ordinary 3 15-16 d; Australian, heavy 3 7-16 d, light 3Jd; River Plate, heavy 3|tl, light 3£d. Lamb—Canterbury, light 4id, medium 3 15-lGd, heavy 3jd; Nortli Island, selected 4d, ordinary 3Jd; Southland 4d; River Plate 4id. Beef—New Zealand, fores 3d, hinds 3 5-16 d; Australian, fores 3d, hinds 3 5-16 d; River Plate, fores 3d, hinds 3 5-16 d.
