AN ILLEGAL CORPORATION. APPEAL COURT'S JUDGMENT. Press Aseocdation-By Telegraph-Copyright Received 1 a.m., Nov. 22nd. NEW YORK, Nov. 21. The United States' circuit Court of Appeal ordered the Standard Oil Company at New Jersey to be dissolved as an illegal corporation. ■ The Government's action was directed against the parent organisation and 70 subsidiary branches for conspiracy in a monopoly, restraining trade in several States. The judgment also enjoins the defendant. companies from paying dividends to the Standard Oil'at New Jersey, on such stock or permitting any combination to vote on such stock. The case, now goes to the United States Supreme Court. The charges against 33 branches were dismissed. The judgment led to a selling movement on the New York Exchange, and Standard Oil certificates declined 12} points.
