The High Court has commenced the hearing of the Law Institutcs's appeal against Mr R. H. Meagher's reinstatement, on the roll of attorneys. The ground of the- appeal is that the evidence previously brought before the Supremo Court both as regards the Dean caso and land matters was sufficient to establish that Meagher was not a fit and proper person for reinstatement.
