THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Nov. 11. The Management Committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union met to-day. The committee considered the case «i a player who had been suspended by the Marlborough iiugby Union for six months for allegedly using threatening behaviour and language to a referee. The committe considered the case a particularly bad one, which had not been adequately dealt with by the Marlborough Union, and decided t odisquahiy the player for two years from the date of the offence. It was decided to ask the Marlborough Union why an inquiry had not been held regarding other player (who left the field) mentioned bv the referee. 'Three members of the Athletic (Petone) Club were expelled from the Rugby Union for having taken part in .the Northern Union game. Notifications of a number of disqualifications were received from the New South Wales Rugby Union. ,

Auckland Rugby Union asked' for a definition of the position of a player tlicro who had played imdcr the Northern Union rules, but had not been reported to the governing .authorities'. The letter was referred back to the Auckland Union to make further inquiry and report. The New South "Wales Union intimated that it is understood that the Queensland Rugby Union was not at present in a position to settle the liability with the New Zealand Union incurred over the visit of the British team to Queensland. The New South Wales Union suggested that the matter should be brought, directly under the notice of the Queensland delegates attending the proposed conference of representatives of New Zealand and the various States regarding matters affecting the game. Consideration was deferred.
