Mr Montague Guest, brother of Lord Wimbornc, died from heart failure while shooting with King Edward and the Prince of Wales at Sandringham. He dropped while crossing ploughed ground, and the King and the Prince of Wales hastened to assist him, but found him dead. The shooting was abandoned, and the festivities at Sandringham, including a theatrical performance, were cancelled. TRAGEDY ON THE STAGE. NEW YORK, Nov. 10. Evorton, a music hall hypnotist, at Soniervillc, New Jersey, threw a man named Simpson into a. cataleptic trance. The audience roared with laughter at Everton's failures to bring Simpson round, until a doctor ran on to the stage and declared the man to be dead. Evorton was arrested on a charge of manslaughter. TRAINS IN COLLISION. SERIOUS LOSS OF LIFE. Received 11 p.m., Nov. 11th. LONDON, Nov. 11. An electric passenger train collided with a freight train between Vancouver and Westminster, 15 persons being killed and seven injured.

A verdict of accidental death was returned in connection with the fatality at the Ross goldfields claim, where bv a man named Steadman was killed. Frederick Henne, an old resident of the Stafford district, died last night, after a protracted illness.
