The rink will he open to-morrow as usual, also on Thursday afternoon, when tickets will he available for tho carnival. SHKUWOOD'S PICTURES. There was again a good attendance at the Theatre Itoyal on Saturday atternoon and evening, when one oi the nnest programmes ycc put on, was submitted. The pictures included some exceptionally fine works in animated photography. The "star" pictures were undoubtedly those dealing with Justorical subjects in the time ot Iticliard 111 and Henry VIII. These pictures were all beautifully coloured, and were very interesting. Some ot the best of the other pictures were—The Castawavs, a fine dramatic subject, Scenes iii Brittany, Life in d > clowns Ninas, and The Locket. Iho comic subjects caused much merriment. Wcarv Willie steals a fish, Threo Alpine' Climbers, A Good Situation, lho .A-red Paralytic, and a host of other interesting and amusing studies were shown. This programme will only bo shown to-night and to-morrow night, aud the opportunity of seeing it should not be missed.
