The British Chamber of Commerce at Paris lias offered to open in connection with its offices a small Australian bureau for the supply of official information relating to bills of lading and certificates for those who seek reductions of French duties, and to distribute law books. The initial annual cost of the scheme to tho States w ill not exceed £SOO.

Mr Coghlan (New South "Wales) and Sir I-I. Tozer (Queensland) discussed the matter with the Chamber on behalf of a committee of the AgentsGeneral.
