'AT PALMERSTON NORTH. j Per Press Association. PALMERSTON N., June 23. The Manawatu Winter Show was ocntinued to-day in fine but gloomy •weather. The attendance was again very large. Judging was to-day with, the poultry utility, classes and fat stock. . . The principal winners m poultry were R. Bannister, Brahmas E. H. Holland (Bunnythorpe) Langshans and divided honours in Leghorns with B. McConnack (Hastings), Ateheson anil Son (Palmerston North) and G. Green (Bulls). S. R. Lancaster was the principal exhibitor in Plymouth Rocks t. H. Pickering (Palmerston) being the most successful competitor in ti.lute varieties, and A. H. Guthrie (W ton) secured all the firsts _in Black Orpingtons. Mrs S._ Reul Woodlands) and Mrs W. Hislop (A\ringanui) divided liononrs in Butt Orpingtons. . C. H. was tho only exhibitor in whites. In Silv Wyndottes the successful were Iremonger and Curne ton)- in Whites Mrs Heslop (\\ anganui),' and A. Hickling (Mangahao> a'so tton)°a>f.l C. H.
