Mr.'l). Stuart left for Dunedin on business yesterday. He is expected back again either on Saturday or Monday next. Death has removed one of Wainiate's oldest residents, in the person of Mrs Gregson, who has been a resident in Queen street, Waimate, for considerably over 40 years. Dean Harper, who has been in indifferent health of late, lenves Christchurch to-morrow for London, travelling via Vancouver. He lias relinquished Ills intentions of visiting Mexico.
