FOOTBALL.

ZINGARI CLUB. A general meeting of the Zingari Football Club was held last night, about 30 members being present. Mr K. Darroeh presided, the president, Mr Pearson, sending an apology from Christchureh. A committee was set up to arrange for a social later in the season, namely. .Messrs ,J. Darroeh. Lamont. Shields. Munro. MeWhirter. and Doyle. The question of transfer of a member of the Celtic Club to this club was considered, and the secretary was requested to write to the S.C.R.U. about it. Main and Marist, the leading teams in the primary schools competition, meet at the Athletic Ground on Saturday at 3 p.m.
