Tin- superintendent of the Butter and Cheese Factory Managers' Association stated that from July last to date, the butter exported from Victoria was 945G tons, compared with 14 ; 56< tons for the previous corresponding period, j.here had been a falling off in quality as well as in quantity. The proportion of superfine butter had decreased from 3-4 per cent, to 29 per cent. BRISBANE, May 18.
