Mr John Burns, speaking at Carshalton, said that something was being done in regard to the Poor Law"* Commission reports. The Government were determined to lose no time or opportunity in the administration and carrying out of the practical proposals contained iu both reports. If the country knew its business it would re in it both reports and the whole problem to the Local Government Boarder practical action, whenever lie or t!i.Department thought such action necessary.
