THE FAIRLIE CLUB
At a meeting of the commit lee held last Monday it- was decided that .in future' the monthly medal will be played for on medal play and scoring. Members are instructed to make themselves conversant with the social rules for medal play. The handicappcr requested that all score cards be put into tiie box, even if a round be not completed. The monthly medal was arranged to be played for on the third Thursday or Saturday of each month : that for May to be played on May 20th and 2"2nd. The secretary notified the committee that matches had been arranged with Timaru. as follows:—At Fairlie, -May '24 th; at Timaru. June I7th. The following were chosen to practieft, in view of the above matches: —Messrs Roberts. Hanks, McC'askill, Cook, J. Trotter. Nolan. .T. Trotter, jimr.. AVigley. Martin. IJichards. Hylaud. A. Gillingham. and O'Brien.
