Subject to any iKoessary alteration* mails will close as under: — For Northern ports of New Zealand, Monday, Wednesday and t.-iday, at 12.-50 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, 3.30 p.m. For Teinuba—6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. For Geraldine—6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 4 p.m. For Asiiburton and Christehurch —6 a.m., 12.50 p.m., and 3.30 p.m. For Oamaru and Waimate—fi a.m., 10.30 a.m., and 3 p.m. For Dunedin—lo.3o a.m., and 3 p.m. For Fafrlie, Albury, and Pleasant Point—3.ls p.m. daily, and on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, at 6 a.m. Late letters, bearing an additional Id stamp, can now be posted in box aear main entrance to railway station. Box will be open for lo minutes before express trains are due, and closed on vheir arrival at platform. From the Ist May to 31st October, mails will be despatched to Burke's i'ass and Lake Tekapo on Mondays and Fridays, at 3.15 p.m. Lake Pukaki on Monday at 3.15 p.m. The Hermitage mail is discontinued. The next- mail for the Fuited States and Canada will leave here on May 26th, via San Francisco, and due San Francisco .June 18th. Wednesday, May 19th. For I'nited Kingdom, Continent of •Europe, via Monte Video and Tenenffe. also Rio - Janeiro, per s.s. Arawa, at 12.50 p.m. Due" London July 2nd. Specially addressed. Thursday, May 20th. For India, China, Ceylon, Japan. Hong Kong, Straits Settlements, South Africa, , Australian States, United Kingdom and Continent of Europe, rla Brindisi.
