r ~ TEMUKA SALE. The usual fortnightly sale was held at the above yards when only a moderate entry was offered. The attendance was inucli smaller than usual, and competition slow Prices ruled as follows:—Fat ewes" 9s od, 9s 6&:-10s. 2d, 10s 4d to 10s 6d; fat lambs 12s lOd to 12s lid: wethers to 14s „6d; fat' and forward lambs, 10s 6d to 10s lid ; cull lambs, 6s 7d: store wethers (small)-. 8s 6d. Cattle—Prime steers £7 10s to £8: do. heifers, £5 10s to £6 ss; do. cows," £3 10s to £4 ss. Pigs sold at late values.
