'The preponderance of opinion is that it is a strong hatting, and a weak bowling team. MELBOURNE, Feb. 17. The Australian eleven has elected Laver as manager. The following will represent the South End against Geraldine at Temuka to-day*—Bennett, Cave, Doyle, Hill, Johnston, Kane, Manly, Powell, Robertson, Warburton and Wills. The team leaves by the 1.30 p.m. train.
