FAIRLIE SALE. 'The second sale for this season was held at Fairlie yards yesterday, when 2150 sheep and lambs, .and five head of ' cattle were penned. The sheep yarding comprised principally lambs, for which there was a good demand; tho- few peris of ewes forward were also well competed for. LABIATE SALES. Messrs Wall and Hickman report npontheir usual weekly sale as follows: —Pigs—Weaners, lis 6d, 13s to 15a; stores, 16s, 19s, 21s 6d, 295, 31s, 365, 38s to £2; sow and litter of six at £5, sows in pig at £4 6s, £3 10s and £4 & each. One heifer (springing) £4 3s. Bay gelding, 6yrs, saddle and harness, £l3: draught gelding, aged, '££■ 7s fid j black gelding, aged, £3. Poultry—Hens from Is to Is 7d,"roosters Is 5d to Is 9d, pullets 2s 4d to 2s 6d, Hack Leghorn cockerels lsr 9d to 2s Id, golden Wyandotte cockerels Is 63 to 2s; Buff' Orpington cockerels Is 6d to Is lid, White Ijegliorn cockerels 3s, white Wyandotte cockerels 2s 9d. Produce. —New potatoes from 3d to Id, onions Id per lb, chick wheat 12s to 13s 6d, oats Bs, oatsheaf chaff 3s, oat straw chaff Is 3d per sack. Fruit. — Apricots 3d, plums 2d, and apples Id to lid per lb. Sundries. —Express £7 lis, cart £6, set harness £1 10s, coppers 9s, 10s to £1 Is, set ha-rness £1 13s, duchess £2 to,£2 3s, chairs at 4s 3d, scales £1 9s, tables 16s, washstand and ware 7s 6d, sofa 15s, couch 6s, garden seat £1 4s, rocking chair 6s.
